Summer 2012

     Fall is in the air. You know what that means... BOOTS! But, before we get into the new fall fashions, it is time for us to recap summer's trends. The bandeau made its debut this year and everyone and i mean EVERYONE was hooked on it! I know i was! Instead of wearing a tank top, i could just slip on a bandeau and not have to pick at the bottom of a tank top all day. This is not the last time you will see bandeaus. Next, high waisted shorts. Need i say more? These life savers instantly gave you a booty, yet they were retro and almost anyone could wear them! These took the place of high waisted skirts. You could wear them with a shirt tucked in, or out! Also, i saw a lot of shorts with the pockets sticking out. These depended on how you wore them. If they had a patterned pocket sticking out they were adorbs! But, sometimes they looked more skimpy than cute. Summer was defined in 2 colors: coral and turquoise; these two colors looked great together and generally looked good on everyone. This sweaty season gave me good hopes for this fall!
